Can't programe the volume buttons.

I can't get the INT422-4 to program the volume buttons with an Edifier remote. The light blinks once instead of twice. Any suggestions? Thanks.

EDIT: Figured it out. All I had to do was turn off the speakers and change out the Edifier remote battery and it worked.
